Pfütsero town is itself a destination worth adding to your itinerary when in Phek. But among all its offerings, Glory Peak remains the crème de la crème of sights to behold in this area.

Tso Tawo is a structure of stones stacked together with huge flat stones atop resembling a tectonic table of sorts. The structure holds intriguing tales of lore, myth, and custom.

Phek’s affinity with its hilly terrain stands out in every region of the district, and Zanibu Range (part of Nagaland’s famous Patkai Range) is no exception. This mountain range extends over hundreds of hectares of evergreen vegetation that remain preserved and protected by efforts from locals and authorities alike.

The range, among other things, is home to a stunning variety of avian species ranging from the celebrated hornbill to Blythe’s tragopan. The peak of this range stands at about 2426 meters above sea level and the sights you’ll enjoy at this height are spectacular, to say the least!
